Jason Kippes
Owner & Insurance Agent
Jason Kippes joined the staff at Kippes Insurance Agency, Inc. upon graduation from Kansas State University in 1999. Jason earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Management.
Jason handles overall management of Kippes Insurance and focuses primarily on crop insurance and farm policies. As a fourth generation farmer on his family farm, Jason sees and understands the challenges facing today’s farmers.

Sheila Lamb
Insurance Agent
Sheila Lamb has been in the insurance business for over 30 years and has been a crop insurance agent since 2003. Sheila officially joined the staff at Kippes Insurance Agency in 2008.
Prior to becoming an insurance agent, she was a crop insurance underwriter for American Agrisurance Inc. in Iowa.
Sheila brings a wealth of knowledge and experience regarding all faces of the crop insurance industry. Her goal is to provide the best coverage to meet your needs and to provide exemplary customer service to all of our clients.

Julie Richmeier
Insurance Agent
Julie Richmeier has been a licensed insurance agent since 2001. Julie officially joined the staff at Kippes Insurance Agency, Inc. in 2017.
Julie brings an abundance of knowledge and experience to Kippes Insurance Agency. She handles farm, homeowners, vehicle and commercial insurance needs.
With Julie’s varied experience in the business, she strives to provide the best coverage at the most competitive prices to fit our customers’ needs. Julie is a valued asset to both our agency and our clients.

Melissa Harris
Insurance Agent & Processing Specialist
Melissa has been in the insurance business for over 15 years as a licensed crop insurance agent, since 2007 she specializes in policy processing and coordination with underwriting companies. After serving as the main crop insurance processor through a contract since 2013 Melissa officially joined the staff at Kippes Insurance Agency in 2021.
Prior to becoming an insurance agent, she worked in non-profit social service administration, and conservatorship law. She brings extensive knowledge in organizational policy and practice development.
Melissa's aim is to provide meticulous and comprehensive support to sales agents, as well as professional and streamlined coordination with underwriting companies.

Summer Nowlin
Insurance Agent
Summer Nowlin has been in the insurance industry since 2004, starting her career in Victoria, Kansas, as
an office manager and becoming a licensed agent in 2007. Summer officially joined Kippes Insurance
Agency in February of 2022.
Through the years, Summer has specialized in working with clients to give personalized service and meet
their personal, farm, and commercial insurance needs. Summer is looking forward to continuing to build
those connections with new and existing clients.
Outside of work, Summer enjoys spending time with her husband and their children, quilting, and
learning how to play tennis.

Caden Oberle
Insurance Agent
Caden Oberle started working for Kippes Farms in 2017 as a farmhand. He graduated from Fort Hays State University in 2022 and started working for Kippes Insurance Agency in 2023.
Caden is the Farm Map specialist and internal auditor. He is also an additional agent for Kippes Insurance Agency, getting his license in 2024. His main line of business is Crop Insurance with a focus on our specialized products such as Pasture, Rangeland and Forage (PRF), Annual Forage and Livestock Risk Protection (LRP).
Caden is a valuable asset to Kippes Insurance Agency, and all of our clients. His goal is to provide the best knowledge and coverage to all our clients.

Tim Harris
Processing Specialist & Internal Auditor
Tim is brand new to the insurance business after 21 years in outdoor sporting goods retail. Tim officially joined the staff at Kippes Insurance Agency in 2022.
Previously, he monitored and managed large-scale inventory in the fishing department of Scheels, as well as similar responsibilities at Cabela's. He brings extensive knowledge in inventory analysis, ordering, and product processing.
With Tim's background in detail management and systematic review, his aim is to provide thorough and precise support to sales agents at Kippes Insurance.
