Multiple Peril Crop Insurance (MPCI)
MPCI covers crop losses, including lower yields caused by natural events such as destructive weather (hail, frost, damaging wind), disease, drought, fire, flooding, insect damage. It can also cover revenue losses depending on the insurance plan you choose. MPCI is a federally supported and regulated program.
Crop Hail Insurance
Crop hail insurance covers crops that are damaged by hail. Crop hail insurance has several plans to choose from starting from a Basic plan with no deductible to several other plans with varying deductibles.
Pasture, Rangeland and Forage Insurance Policy (PRF)
The Pasture, Rangeland and Forage insurance policy is an area-based insurance plan that covers perennial pasture, rangeland or forage that is used to feed livestock. It provides producers a risk management tool to cover the precipitation needed to produce forage for their operation.
Farm Mapping Service
One of the services Kippes Insurance Agency Inc. provides for producers is Farm Mapping. With this service, we can map out your cropland acres, split fields and terraces to match your farming practices, and provide a more accurate count of the acres you have per field. We provide a copy of these maps to all of our producers.
